Wendy spent the afternoon with her son Cam, to speak about his experience living with Down syndrome in a rural town while going to school during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Always her sons advocate, Wendy speaks about the hardships her son has to endure in different school systems who don't understand how to properly care for Cam and his education. She hopes to spread awareness for his situation as well as many others who may be going through the same struggles.
